The inspired effort of Cleveland left fielder Nazir Roundtree was not enough to prevent a loss, 5-4, to the Lake Wylie Renegades. Roundtree went 4 for 4 with 3 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Lake Wylie pitcher Willie Farias earned the win, hiking his record to 4-4. Bill Dixon suffered the loss. The National League East Division-leading Renegades are 47-39.

Justin Riojas hit a 2-run double off Bill Dixon in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Renegades in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Riojas had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"I was a little disappointed," said Cleveland manager Reggie Jolly. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
