The home crowd had a good time watching the Lake Wylie Renegades and Texas Rangers get after it.

A good performance from center fielder Tyler Proctor helped the Texas Rangers defeat the Lake Wylie Renegades, 11-6. Proctor was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Rangers. Gustavo Salazar came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3 innings. His record now stands at 2-0.

Right Fielder Josh O'Brien made an impact for Texas, when he swatted a 2-run home run off John Mannon in the bottom of the third. For the contest, O'Brien was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.

"I felt good up there," said Proctor. "I saw the ball well."

The Renegades, now 46-39, have lost 4 straight.
