New York Sent Home with 3-0 Loss
|
The River Hills Rockets, behind a great outing from Danny Tindale, who is tied for 10th in the NL with a 9.2 K/9 rate, defeated the New York Mets, 3-0, at River Hills Grounds. Ricardo Garza was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 4 save opportunities. With the win over New York, the Rockets improved to 29-50.
River Hills took a 3-0 lead on Luke Brisebois's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Brisebois hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New York pitcher Rico Martinez visibly frustrated.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Brisebois. "You've got to get results."
