River Hills Gets Another L
|
The River Hills Rockets and Washington Nationals provided some drama for the home crowd.
Nick Bryan, who is tied for 10th in the NL in innings pitched with 101.0, was locked in. The right-hander led the Washington Nationals to a 3-2 win against the River Hills Rockets at Nationals Park. Mike Ogle, credited with the save, is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities.
Paul Abell helped out the Washington cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the center fielder went 2-3 with 2 singles.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Bryan.
The Rockets, now 28-50, have lost 6 straight.
