The home crowd had a good time watching the River Hills Rockets and New York Mets get after it.

New York turned a good performance from starting pitcher Rico Martinez into a 5-1 triumph over the River Hills Rockets at Citi Field. New York is now 34-40, while River Hills is 28-46.

In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, Martinez came to the plate. He struck out off Danny Tindale to put the Mets in the lead, 2-1.

Said losing manager Blake Wheeler: "Obviously, we wished for a better outcome."
