The New York Mets beat the River Hills Rockets by a score of 7-6. New York first baseman Johnny Filkins deserved the lion's share of the credit. Filkins was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Mets. Steve Clark was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 20 of 22 save opportunities.
